CoalTown Beach Bash

Get ready for some family fun in the sand and sun in Downtown Welch, WV, Saturday, July 1st, to celebrate Independence Day weekend! CoalTown Beach Bash festivities include family activities, games, free watermelon, bouncy houses for the kids, beach music, vendors and fireworks at 9:30 PM.

The CoalTown Fall Festival is typically held the third weekend in September.  However, to accommodate the carnival, this year's festival will be September 20-23, 2023 (Wednesday-Saturday). Download Festival Flyer  Free Street Vendor Registration

Haunted Hayride

The Haunted Hayride is generally held the 2, 3 and 4th weekends of October. Proceeds benefit the Local Volunteer Fire Dept.

The United States longest continuously running Veteran's Day Parade. This year will be the 105 Veteran's Day Parade
